The Clinical Affairs Manager for this major medical manufacturer will be responsible for providing clinical expertise to enhance patient care, manage key opinion leader development and conduct research and evaluate clinical studies. You will also provide clinical support and expertise for internal personnel: marketing, regulatory, engineering, and sales teams, applying specialized theoretical and practical knowledge to a broad range of clinical or clinical development situations.This person will become a clinical expert within the area of Med Delivery IV Therapy and be able to offer guidance to customers related to best practice implementations and the use of products in the clinical setting; as well as to marketing, business development, regulatory and research and development teams MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:  

• Researches and creates of clinical presentations and training materials working with healthcare professionals to understand how they use medication delivery products and to gather their feedback
• Cultivates relationships with key clinical thought leaders and champions in the area of IV Therapy to establish a solid clinical pool that can be called upon for clinical advise, research, and presentations.
• Works in the clinical and early market evaluation of major new products and provides clinical input to marketing plans, promotional campaigns, and new product launch plans.
• Develops support materials and programs to ensure high quality implementation of planned educational activities and programs
• Ensure clinical studies are consistent with FDA, ISO, QSR and other regulations and assist in the clinical and early market evaluation of major new products.
• Serves as liaison for clinical studies with major teaching programs and academic centers to advocate and facilitate submission of clinical experience to peer reviewed forums.  

EDUCATIONAL & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:  

• Must have a minimum of 4 years in a healthcare-related field or industry
• Bachelors Degree, preferably in a field relating to the healthcare industry.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS: 

• Knowledge and experience with new product evaluation, in servicing, education,
• Strong communication, presentation, planning & organizational skills required
• Critical nursing skills such as troubleshooting infusion pumps and infusion delivery lines, blood sampling, catheter placement and care, etc. desired.
• Excellent oral communication skills and proficient  in Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet & e-mail programs
• Strong leadership qualities
• Excellent computer skills, particularly with database applications
• Must be highly motivated, well organized, creative, energetic, articulate, team oriented, analytical, professional, and self-confident.
