Position Summary:
As the Global Technical Business Services Manager, you will drive service product development process deliverables and infrastructure required for initial product launch to include a strategic program for developing services revenue for a major new product initiative. You will be partner with product line management in developing sales/marketing strategies in response to technical buyer requirements for optimizing product life cycle costs and driving product differentiation with biomedical engineers. Using your 10 years in Services Management and Revenue Capture, you will provides leadership in the development Infusion Systems product platform features and capabilities that drive sustainable value with technical buyers (biomedical engineers) and work closely with design team to select, develop, and implement technologies / features that enable a continuous stream of service revenue for Infusion Systems products globally. The qualified candidate will establish key external contacts to capture “voice of technical customer” and monitor trends in medical device servicing and have the ability to understand market trends, financial data and customer needs, as well as the ability to assess competitive intelligence data.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Represents Technical Services on Global Infusion Systems new product development teams
· Prepares PDP service related deliverables concept generation thru initial market release for medication delivery management systems
· Create a portfolio of services and service products and Monitor competitive service offerings to identify threats and opportunities
· Work closely with design team to select, develop, and implement technologies / features that drive consistent “design for serviceability” practice across all Infusion Systems products globally
· Define the positioning strategies for the service offering across regions and platforms and Identify customer needs and cost-effective products in assigned product lines and market segments
· Work in a cross-functional team with R&D, quality, regulatory, marketing and sales to influence the product development cycle
· Perform complex financial analysis on assigned service product lines
Education Requirements:
· BS in related engineering discipline with experience in design, development, or technical sales and/or service
· Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Life Sciences preferred
Position Requirements:
· 10+ years in medical device servicing or related experience in medical device operations / technical sales.
· Demonstrable leadership skills, with ability to thrive in a competitive organization
· Experience developing and implementing marketing strategy and understanding of medical products and services
· Must be well versed in engineering disciplines (e.g. computer science, software system development, electronics, engineering materials)
· Experience with the assessment of customer needs and competitive intelligence data and knowledge of market trends and financial data relative to service revenue
· Experience with pricing, service requirements, messaging, branding, and new product development and project management
