The client company is a worldwide leader in medical products, manufacturing, distributing, and marketing high quality capital equipment and consumable medical devices. The company is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer within R&D that will be responsible for the development of Left Ventricle Assist System consisting of an implantable heart pump, which houses a magnetically levitated impeller.
Experience Requirements:
· BSEE, prefer MSEE
· 5+ yrs hands on hardware design in a manufacturing environment
· Medical device experience—Prefer - active implantable medical devices
· Analog/digital circuit design experience—it doesn’t matter if stronger on one side VS the other
· Exp with multiple DSP & microcontroller platforms
· Knowledge of C/C++ (do your own code to test) and CPLD & FPGA based designs
· Working knowledge of CAD tools—layout SW
