Legacy MedSearch is a Retained Search Firm specializing in the Emerging Medical Technology.  Our firm is hired by medical device and imaging manufacturers in specialized fields such as Orthopedics, NeuroScience, Imaging, and Implants to find Product Managers, Engineers, Marketing and Sales Executives, Operations, Quality, Regulatory and Research Professionals exclusively in the area of Emerging Medical Technology, with a specific focus on:

·          MEDICAL DEVICE (510K, IDE, PMA, VC, Incubator stage)
·          IMAGING (CT, MR, PET, Ultrasound, HIFU, Fluoroscopy, PACS, Mammo, Molecular, CR, DR)
·          NAVIGATION (IGS, CAS, DBS, IGRT, RF, Robotics, Neuroscience)
·          EMERGING AND CONVERGING Radiologic and Surgical Treatment Solutions
·          BIOSCIENCE (Bio-Pharm, Nano, Bubble, MEMS, Advanced Diagnostics & Therapy

 QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A 4 year degree OR a 2 year degree (or commensurate military education) with 2 years in outside sales
  • 2+ years of successful biotechnology, medical, or pharmaceutical sales experience (strongly preferred)
  • Successful commission-based salespeople with strong sales skills will be considered from the following industries: Real Estate (Realtors), Insurance, Wireless, Telemarketing, Recruiting
  • Prior sales, medical device sales, clinical, Pharmaceutical, Radiology, O.R. Sales, or biotechnology experience is strongly preferred
  • Understanding of medical terminology, the capital equipment sales cycle, and/or implant or medical technology sales process is strongly preferred
  • Must be computer and internet savvy & proficient in MS Office with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to demonstrate excellent internet research capabilities, time management and decision-making skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

·  Work with Account Executives to identify and qualify professional candidates for open positions.

·  Source passive candidates through complex internet searches and research.

·  Mine a wide variety of resources (job boards, data bases, networking, referrals, etc.) for qualified candidates and provide timely and innovative sourcing results.

·  Communicate directly with candidates as necessary, depending on the level of search, to screen and arrange interviews.

·  Prepare recruiting and hiring reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data and trends. 

·  Communicating effectively with clients and candidates, including the ability to close deals.

·  Writing a candidate presentation (Template and training will be provided) ·  Counsel candidates to help them best match their skills and background to career opportunities.

·  Consult with hiring managers at client companies to learn their unique needs and requirements, present candidates and manage interviews and offers.

·   Manage feedback and follow-up throughout the interview and negotiation process.

·   Build long-term relationships with candidates and clients.

Compensation:

We provide a base salary and paid training, vacation with pay and flex time. Our client includes a large number of west coast and several European clients, so your hours can be flexible. We do not offer “work from home” options. (Our office is in
Orlando near Fashion Square Mall).
