Position Summary:
The Senior Market Analyst will work with the Global Marketing to implement of market research initiatives in support of annual long range and strategic planning process. You will analyze research and internal and competitive data and translate it into actionable reports and make insightful interpretations and recommendations based on secondary research findings. In addition, you will serve be a primary contact with the research suppliers on contract, billing and project management issues.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Direct implementation of market research initiatives in support of a pharmaceutical product pipeline
- Manage business partnerships between the company and research suppliers and assess the quality of incoming data and information
- Review the reliability of secondary sources
- Serve as primary contact with the research suppliers on contract, billing and project management issues
- Assist in the maintenance and enhancement of routine market tracking reports
- Provide insight and report analysis from market tracking reports
- Perform specified secondary data requests by determining appropriate sources, information collection and analysis
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Statistics or a related business field
Position Requirements:
- 2+ years experience in market research
- Experience with market research techniques
- Project management skills
- Proven ability to think strategically and objectively
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of healthcare, biotech, medication delivery or pharmaceutical market preferred
