Position Summary:

As Senior Director of Global Project Management, you will use your 10+ years of expertise in medical devices, pharmaceuticals or biotechnology to lead the global product development for a vital medication delivery portfolio.  Your responsibilities will include project management, matrix and operational management and process management, and you will be accountable for meeting project specifications and developing milestones and launch plans.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop, monitor and track milestones, budgets and timelines for company product lines
• Identify timeline delays and matters of concern and address and resolve issues and risks
• Lead the technical assessment of all new product opportunities
• Define project strategy and develop efficient plans to support the product profile
• Drive on time, on budget delivery on projects under your control 
• Meet project specifications, development milestones and launch dates
• Challenge, consolodate, and reconcile the global budget of products
• Build relationships with KOLs and external partners to develop new product ideas

Education Requirements:

• Master’s degree or PhD in a Scientific or Clinical field
• MBA preferred

Position Requirements:

• 10 years experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry
• 5+ years of project management experience in the pharmaceutical field
• Quantifiable track record in product development in the pharmaceutical industry
• 3+ years experience leading cross-functional product development teams from concept through product launch
• 3+ years experience leading global project management initiatives, including resource allocation and creation of standard global systems and processes
• Demonstrated organizational ability to meet timeline requirements while dealing with competing priorities
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with business contacts on a global basis
