Position Summary: 

The client company is a global medical products and services company with expertise in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology.  The Group Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing product marketing of both the installed base products as well as development of new products. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead multifunctional core and launch teams for the next generation large volumetric pump platform
  • Discover, understand, and communicate customer and market dynamics and trends for clear divisional understanding of customer and user needs
  • Develop business case and marketing plan for the next generation of a medical delivery systems platform
  • Responsible for tactical implementation of key market research programs, including: voice of customer needs analysis, market share measurements, KOL advisory boards, and user board panel recruitment and continuing development

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing from strong business school
  • MBA or Master’s degree in Marketing strongly preferred

Position Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 to 8 years of solid health care marketing is required
  • Medical device marketing experience preferred
  • Experience in a global matrix environment
  • A proven track record in leadership of large cross-functional teams, resulting in a successful product launch
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills
  • Experience with product planning process
  • Knowledge of life cycle management and product roadmap development
