Will educate, train and support all end users and provide on-site guidance and assistance during operating room procedures. Will “take ownership” on insuring the success of key sites and work in both business and clinical areas to insure success of the product introduction. This will include a partnering with hospital administration and surgeons in executing patient outreach and education programs. Additionally, they will maintain close working relationship in order to address and resolve performance issues at customers’ site.

Responsibilities:

• Educate/train physicians and hospital personnel, including OR staff, Radiology, Central Sterile Processing, Biomedical & IT staff.

• Answer a wide range of questions concerning hardware, software, surgical applications, as well as clinical technique related to joint implants.

• Execute Clinical aspect of the Sales Cycle.

• “Sell” from a clinical perspective, the benefits of the product to the surgeon, hospital and patient

• Actively sell the clinical benefits of the products, and build strong, positive relationships with key surgeons and OR staff at targeted accounts.

• Perform troubleshooting procedures to identify and resolve problems quickly and with confidence.

• Produce well-written post-training reports and to provide written product feedback.

• Support the sales process in technical presentations of products where applicable

• Serve as the primary contact for customer education in the field.• Develop and conduct training and in-service programs for hospital staff.

• Call sites proactively to assess satisfaction and usage of product.

• Keep customers informed and satisfied with client products.

Education/Experience:

• BS/BA, in Nursing, Biomedical Engineering or Associates or RT certification or B.S. in equivalent
experience.

• Clinical experience; 3 years of experience working in clinical environment, either as an industry representative or a staff member in a health care provider entity. Experience in Surgery highly, highly desired, with emphasis in Orthopedic Surgery and/or applications of surgical navigation.

• Knowledge of surgical procedures, anatomy and medical terminology.

• Superior interpersonal communication skills, professional disposition and demeanor.
